Accretion Investment Management

Exit

For investments that it originates, Accretion generally seeks an exit within 5 years.

For investments acquired under a replacement manager mandate, there is no similar rule of thumb. In these cases, exit timetables will be determined by the particular circumstances of the fund, its investees and the requirements of investors.

Exit intentions are an integral part of the business planning process. Accretion will fully communicate and agree exit intentions with management and co-investors and endeavour to execute them so that disruption to the business is minimised.

Accretion has successfully executed 12 exits since 2002. These have been via sale to trade buyers and co-investors, IPO and refinancing.
