Investment Parameters

Accretion is focusing on later stage private equity transactions requiring an equity investment of up to $10m. This typically equates to an enterprise value of between $10m and $50m and provides an equity interest of between 20% and 80% in the investee.

We invest in established Australasian enterprises in any sector (but not sectors where value is based predominantly on real estate prices). We do not invest in start-up or early stage enterprises.

We look for businesses with strong management teams and a sustainable competitive advantage. We are not deterred if those businesses have incurred or are facing short term difficulties as we are prepared to support management teams through periods of change.

We also actively support experienced executives wanting to lead a management buy-in. We will work with them to identify opportunities, structure investment proposals and provide deal funding. The opportunities to build value from this powerful alignment of interests are substantial.
