Accretion Investment Management

Investment Process

Accretion has a disciplined process for identifying new investments, pricing them, conducting due diligence and negotiating and documenting the deal. We have focused on simplifying the process to enable transactions to proceed quickly and effectively for all parties.

A major concern is usually with the proposed transaction price. Therefore, early in the process, Accretion will establish an indicative price likely to survive due diligence. The price will be drawn from available financial information and reflect fair value for all parties. Innovative pricing mechanisms to address differing concerns can be readily accommodated.

Due diligence entails a range of commercial, financial and legal enquiries. Accretion typically leads the commercial enquiries, often teaming with individuals who have in-depth experience in the relevant marketplace. Third party professionals are usually engaged to lead the financial and legal enquiries.

Accretion expects the elapsed time from initial contact to execution of contract to be about two months. This assumes the investee's documentation is to normal private equity standards and the absence of material new issues during that time.

Throughout the investment process, Accretion will observe the highest standards of integrity, rigorously maintain confidentiality and keep all parties well informed of progress in meeting any agreed deadlines.
